CURRENT WORK

Welcome to My Portfolio
I’m Douglas W. Anderson. I’m a senior graphic designer with more than 15 years of experience building consistent, effective visual systems for brands. My work covers packaging, e-commerce, and marketing. I treat design as both craft and problem solving, and I aim for work that is clear, refined, and effective.
My Design Vibe:
I like the problem solving that comes with working closely with clients and other creatives. I lean modern, but I adapt to whatever makes the brand strongest. Whether I’m developing a visual system or creating day-to-day marketing pieces, I aim for clean, effective work that does its job.
Some projects are re-presented using contemporary tools for lighting and environment. All product design, art direction, branding, packaging systems, and layouts are my original work.

TOOLS USED

Art Deco packaging for chocolate covered sunflower seeds
MY ROLE
Concept, illustration direction, packaging design, dieline build, production prep
TOOLS USED
Illustrator, Photoshop, Gemini (for scene concepts)
OVERVIEW
This started as a small trapezoidal box I designed years ago and it is still one of my favorite structural shapes. The artwork leans into classic Art Deco geometry and expressive typography. I recently refreshed it using AI-generated environments and some Photoshop clean up. It is a legacy project with a new presentation.

PROJECT
Brand identity concept for “Bonbon Blooms,” a floral-and-chocolate delivery service
MY ROLE
Logo design, identity system, color direction, pattern development, conceptual application
TOOLS USED
Illustrator, Photoshop, Gemini (for scene concepts)
OVERVIEW
This identity began at GiftTree for a bouquet service that paired blooms with hidden chocolates. I created a logo that reads as both a blossom and a bonbon, using GiftTree’s greens to keep it on-brand. The vehicle wrap shown here is an AI-generated concept built for internal presentations to show how the system could scale.

OVERVIEW
This piece explores a fictional confection brand in a nostalgic, hand-rendered style. TOOLS USED
Illustrator, Photoshop, Gemini (for scene concepts)
OVERVIEW
Originally photographed for GiftTree over 15 years ago, this product was reimagined as a vintage saloon advertisement to give the classic Almond Crunch Popcorn a new narrative.
